They are the only paper cockle listed in the most recent edition of floridas seashells a beachcombers guide by Blair and dawn witherington a vast improvement over other fla she'll books but still lacks a good number of shells or mixed up their informations. I had noticed they tend to miss a lot of information regarding Atlantic side shells from space coast to Miami and the keys.
