I made these trips to explore oyster and sand bars washed by daily tides inside the intracoastal waterway about 2.5 miles south of Ponce Inlet.

The two habitats explored were an oyster bar of hard to soft packed sand covered with living and empty Crassostrea virginica and two extensive sand bars of hard-packed sand.  I timed my visit for minus tides.
