A very helpful presentation Marlo! Thank you for your work! I think I can now confidently say that in my travels in the Leeward Islands West Indies, and briefly to Sanibel, I have never yet come across M. carchedonius.
From what you show, the shell is very high-spired and very top-shaped, and the sculpture is indeed very neat and constrained. Interesting.
