Terebra dislocata (Say, 1822)  Eastern Auger

Linda Brunner of Panama City on Florida's panhandle graciously provided me samples of several species of Terebras from the panhandle, including the adjacent

two T. dislocata she collected at the base of jetty rocks in clean sand while snorkeling in St. Andrews Bay, Bay County. Many thanks, Linda!

The pale one is 29 mm and the grey one 30 mm. Photos by Marlo Krisberg.
