ehecatlsohs asked:

Can anyone provide some tips for finding Eulimids, particularly when host species are not in evidence?

Marlo:

I've found these in all habitats using micro collecting techniques or hand dredging in habitats where their hosts are found.

Eulimidae is a family of very small parasitic sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the superfamily Eulimoidea.

These small parasitic snails live on (or in some cases in) the bodies of echinoderms such as sea cucumbers, sea urchins, sea stars, etc.
